ENOUGH..

this is just a forwarded message given to me by my sister on my birthday..
let me share it to you...

ENOUGH
:,

Recently, I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure. Standing near the security gate, they hugged, and the mother said, 'I love you, and I wish you
enough.'

The daughter replied, 'Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom.'

They kissed, and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there, I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy, but she welcomed me in by asking, 'Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?'

Yes, I have,' I replied. 'Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?'

'I am old, and she lives so far away. I
have challenges ahead, and the reality is - her next trip back will be for my funeral,' she said.

'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough.' May I ask what that means?'

She began to smile. 'That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.' She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and she smiled even more. 'When we said, 'I wish you enough,' we wanted the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.'

Then, turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

Then, she began to cry, and walked away.

They say, it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire life to forget them.

life is life

hey!! wake up!!
one should not dwell in the past...
even if others said that you should have a dream... still, you need to wake up and live it to make your dreams a reality!!
there are a lot of reasons to be happy!!
stand up... smile... and go on....
life is life... live it to the fullest!!
we still have our friends that reminds us how to smile and to hope that tomorrow will bring another chance to live our life!!

we still have our family that stays with us no matter what happens....
and there is God..

A quote that you would also agree (I guess)

"One of the luckiest things that can happen to you in life is, I think, to have a happy childhood."

-Agatha Christie (1890-1976)

I guess that's for real.... hmm... do you think so?

Be on move....

Why waste your life on sleep
when you can have enough of it when you die?
Live your dreams, make it real..
do it while your awake not asleep,..

Life is not perfect..
and nobody has the power to make it perfect...
but everyone is given countless chances to make things right.

Get up and make a difference!!

This is me!

A song that touched my heart...

Lately I've been winning battles left and right,
but even winners can get wounded in the fight.

People say that I'm amazing, I am strong beyond my years,
but they don't see inside of me, I'm hiding all my tears.

They don't know, that I come running home when I fall down.
They don't know who picks me up when no one is around.
I drop my sword and cry for just awhile...cause deep inside this armour..
THE WARRIOR IS A CHILD.

Unafraid because this armour is the best,
but even soldiers need a quiet time to rest.

People say htat I'm amazing.. I never face retreat,
but they don't see the enemies that lay me at His feet.

so much alike to what I am experiencing these days.....

I will be your FRIEND

If you need to talk, i will listen.

If you need to cry, i will hold you.

If you feel lost, i will help guide you.

If you need to be angry, i will let you.

If you're feeling afraid, i will comfort you.

If you're feeling attacked, i will be tour defense.

If you need to lean awhile, i will you a shoulder.

If you're feeling unsure, i will give you confidence.

If you're feeling alone, i will be your friend who won't leave you.

What I hate most!!

What I hate most?

hmmmm.........

I can not think of anything...

hmmmm.........

waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh... (a loud scream echoed on our house..)

"There is a cockroach in my room.." My little sister exclaimed.

"Why you are afraid of it? You're a thousand times bigger than it's size."

(the cockroach flew)

waaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.....(another scream echoed... a louder one)

ahaha... it was me.. I can't blame my self for being afraid for such a creature...
imagine how a courageous big sister turned into a freaky frightened 'ate'...

(ate is a Filipino word for sister)

ewwww............

We'll I guess that's it... ahahaha... I am most afraid of "flying cockroach".. flying huh? not the crawling one... ahaha... I really hate it!

cooking time!!

I love cooking...

I grew up helping my mother and my father while they are cooking in the kitchen. Since I was a child, I cannot help my self but to grab a knife and chop some of the ingredients.

Maja Blanca is one of the Filipino delicacy that I loved most. It is made up of corn starch, milk, coconut milk, corn cream.

Wearing my lousy shirt, me and my mother helped each other making such a wonderful dish.

Then my brother John Carlo helped us in pouring the dish in its molder. It is called the "bilao". A rattan weaved in circular form. Banana leaves are placed in order to add flavor and design.

After cooling it for a few minutes, it is ready to serve.
